| Muchos de vosotros conocereis esta maravillosa canción instrumental del compositor Michael Nyman: "The Heart Asks Pleasure First" (click aquí para escuchar) que fue el tema principal de la película El Piano (1993), la cual también recomiendo por si alguien no la vio.
Este tema lo tocaron Nightwish en su último concierto en Hartwall Areena en Helsinki, con letras añadidas, por supuesto compuestas por Tuomas y cantadas por Anette. A mi personalmente me gusta, y me encantaría que pudiesen lanzar este tema, pero al parecer le enviaron la versión a Michael Nyman y no le gustó.

Sunday and last day for my vocal recordings!!! Only one song left and this one is a bonus song, which we don't even know yet if we're gonna be allowed to release since the original composer hasn't said his yes yet....but we keep our fingers crossed and of course we record it anyway... It's a very, very beautiful song and Tuomas lyrics are so good and suit it well. For me, I felt a bit nervous about this one, since it goes extremely high in the end and there were some difficult parts here and there for me to get over. But the guys were so nice and helpful and when we started to work on it, I just let the song flow and it went very well. Did the harmonies as well and then Tuomas recorded some demo-keyboards on top and it sounded amazing! I sure hope the composer will say yes, cause it would be so disappointing if we can't release this one... |
Cómo veis, y en resumen para los que no entiendan el Inglés, estaban bastante emocionados con este tema y esperaban la respuesta de Michael Nyman para poder lanzarlo como bonus.
Y esto escribió Anette es su blog el mes pasado con respecto a la negativa del compositor:

| A mi me encanta la canción, de hecho siempre he pensado que si supiese tocar el piano sería la primera que aprendería >_<. La versión que han hecho también me encanta, creo que la voz de Anette queda super dulce... quizás la negativa por parte de Nyman's no es porque no le guste, si no porque la canción al ser suya... a lo mejor no le gusta que la hayan versionado o puesto letra, a saber...pero no gustarle...lo veo difícil  |
